Revenue Accounting Manager
We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and elevate our end-to-end revenue process. This leader will partner closely with RevOps on contract and order-to-cash workflows, ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition, and oversee our Billing team, which operates on Zuora. This role is both strategic and hands-on: ideal for someone who understands subscription/SaaS revenue deeply and enjoys improving processes, systems, and cross-functional alignment.
This role is remote within Ireland. Candidates must currently reside in Ireland to be considered.
MarginEdge: Where hospitality meets technology
As a team built by former (and current!) restaurant operators, our mission is to bring operators the same energy, attention to detail, and passion that they bring to their guests. Our culture is deeply rooted in service, partially because that’s where so many of our team come from (including everyone on our Business Development team), but also because we believe it is just the right way to run a business. We design our software with profound empathy for the complexity of running a restaurant, and the goal of making the magic just a little easier for operators by taking the complex (read: very annoying) back office tasks off their plate, while empowering them with real-time data.
Our founders share a deep history in both owning and operating restaurants and in building successful tech companies. We are venture-backed and serve 10,000+ restaurants across the US and Canada.
We enable restaurants to make magic while knowing we are doing the same for them.
We have the utmost respect for our clients and because of this, we are unable to hire their current employees.
What type of responsibilities will I have?

Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate forecasting of revenue and billings.
Provide guidance on non-standard deals, incentives, bundling, and multi-element arrangements.

Ensure alignment across Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance on order-to-cash processes.

Improve and scale billing processes, controls, and system configuration to support growth.
Partner with Engineering/RevOps on Zuora enhancements, integration improvements, and data hygiene initiatives.
Process, Systems & Controls
Own the end-to-end quote-to-cash process from an accounting perspective.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in revenue and billing workflows.
Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX-readiness as the company scales.

What qualifications or skills are required?
6-10+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, billing operations, or related fields, preferably in SaaS.
Deep understanding of ASC 606 and subscription revenue models.
Experience working closely with Sales/RevOps on contracts and deal structure.
Hands-on leadership of a billing or order-to-cash function; expertise in Zuora strongly
preferred.
