Senior Technical Product Manager

MarginEdge is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own and continue building out our new software platform for invoice processing that utilizes a mix of artificial intelligence and human input to largely automate invoice processing and classify restaurant purchasing data. This role will work closely with the leaders of Engineering and Data Science as part of the larger Product Management team reporting to our Director of Technical Product Management.
Our offering is a SaaS product delivered through a web interface and mobile application. We serve owners and operators of independent restaurants to streamline their operations, save time and money, and allow them to focus on food and hospitality (and not paperwork). We process over 800k invoices a month, and that volume continues to grow. Our goal is that a customer can take a picture of an invoice and see it reflected on their financial reports in minutes.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will spend your day working with restaurant owners, internal stakeholders, data scientists, and developers to maximize business impact and customer value through the invoice processing platform that we are building. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our invoice processing system, blending customer insights and company strategy to meet our business objectives.
MarginEdge: Where hospitality meets technology
As a team built by former (and current!) restaurant operators, our mission is to bring operators the same energy, attention to detail, and passion that they bring to their guests. Our culture is deeply rooted in service, partially because that’s where so many of our team come from (including everyone on our Business Development team), but also because we believe it is just the right way to run a business. We design our software with profound empathy for the complexity of running a restaurant, and the goal of making the magic just a little easier for operators by taking the complex (read: very annoying) back office tasks off their plate, while empowering them with real-time data.
Our founders share a deep history in both owning and operating restaurants and in building successful tech companies. We are venture-backed and serve 10,000+ restaurants across the US and Canada.
We enable restaurants to make magic while knowing we are doing the same for them.
We have the utmost respect for our clients and because of this, we are unable to hire their current employees.
