Growth Account Manager
We’re growing quickly and looking for a driven Growth Account Manager to join our team. As a foundational hire on our newly formed Growth Account Manager team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact. Your success will come from your ability to adapt quickly, experiment boldly, and help shape how we engage our existing client base with new offerings.
As a Growth Account Manager at MarginEdge, you’ll be a key member of the sales team, responsible for increasing our footprint with existing clients by selling additional products and services to compliment the core offering they already have. Specifically, you’ll be selling the Freepour SmartScale by MarginEdge, enabling bar & restaurant operators to dramatically improve their liquor margins, reduce the time it takes to conduct liquor inventory, & give them confidence in their numbers. From prospecting to closing—and everything in between—this role is yours to own. This position requires NO COLD CALLING, as you will only be reaching out to clients who are already customers!
While this position is remote and we are looking at candidates in all major markets across the U.S., strong preference will be given to those who live in the Metro DC/DMV area for those who are able to work in a hybrid capacity, leveraging the benefits of in-office collaboration.

What type of responsibilities will I have?
- Work with existing MarginEdge customers to expand their product offerings.
Be a quota-carrying rep, responsible for hitting &/or surpassing monthly & quarterly revenue targets. - Collaborate with Customer Success, Onboarding, and Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and continued account growth.
- Help create unique sales collateral and regularly experiment with various value propositions and outreach sequences.
- Maintain a general understanding of Bar & Restaurant Operations & Inventory practices
- Tightly track and manage pipeline, log all activity and outcomes within our CRM system(s) to meet monthly/quarterly goals.
- Utilize Gong to analyze conversations, improve sales effectiveness, and refine messaging.
What qualifications or skills are required?
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or account management, ideally in a fast-paced SMB environment within Hospitality, Restaurant Tech, or SaaS.
- Ability to make 50+ dials & execute 2-3 demo’s per day
- Proven history of consistently exceeding monthly revenue targets
- Strong phone and email communication skills
- Active listener
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Exemplary time management skills & ability to stay focused on task
- A genuine love for restaurants—not just dining in them, but helping them thrive.
- Can successfully work as a team player but maintains ability to self-direct & remain driven while working independently
- Adaptable to change and the ability to thrive in a fast-based environment as we continue to grow and scale our business
Nice to Haves:
- You’ve made the jump from restaurant operations to sales and appreciate the joy of working hard—during traditional business hours. Background as a full-service restaurant GM or AGM (with bonus points if you’ve led teams in multi-unit national or regional brands).
- Experience using MarginEdge or another RMS is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Churnzero, Outreach, Gong
- A hobby or passion you love outside of work (we like well-rounded humans).
